The Jumper is a reproduction of my mother's sweater. This project celebrates the bond between me and her who died of cancer 4 years ago. I still remember the day she gave it to me when I was a child. I was so excited to wear something so glamorous. After few years I forgot about it and I re-discovered it in my closet in my early teens and I fell in love with it all over again. I have grown older with my jumper and every year I have been wearing it in different ways according to my moods and change of style. It never bores me because whether I feel girly or grown up the jumper adapts perfectly.

The jumper is the first piece of Plusthirtynine CORE, a Made in Italy collection of "unseasonal" pieces to wear all year around and that last a lifetime. Made by experienced Italian artisans the jumper comes in two colours of gold and silver. The fibre is a viscose/lurex mix light, fresh and crispy perfect to wear on your skin or to layer up. What is unique about the jumper is its versatility and the way it falls on your body thanks to the high percentage of sparkling lurex that creates an open-weave.
