Sun woo 2021 spring/summer collectin “in between” continues the exploration for the ideas of pop-ups, one of sun woo’s signature motifs that derive from personal memories and experiences.

The pop-up pieces include details inspired by pop-up tents and are portable, round and easily malleable, allowing for a unique feature of a small compactable item transforming into large volumes of wearable garments such as t-shirt or dresses.

Strong reference points this season are helter skelters, tangrams and puzzles which are all essential images of sun woo’s childhood. They are reinterpreted into colour contrasts and new pattern cuttings.

Adding to the label’s expanding vocabulary, sun woo takes on a more elaborate style than her typically minimal stance. New pieces such as the tornado dress and the tri-quare boots add complexity to sun woo’s asthetics while keeping the refinement and freshness of the brand’s dna.
