Latest Collection

InFused A/W2020-2021
Infused A/W2020-2021 derives it's title from the 'infusion' of FIVE VARIABLE ELEMENTS, to create one coherent autumn and winter collection of 24 individual pieces.
The FIRST ELEMENT, is vital in the general setting of the collection's volume, a relaxed, large ad oversized volume inspired by casual wear and sportswear components.
The SECOND ELEMENT are the cuts, seams and fabric layers inspired by the male body anatomy. A series of sketches conducted of the male body and its natural bone structure and muscle development - lie as the inspiration behind the unique cuts/seams of the garments and the fabric layering of over five layers seen within the printed outerwear pieces.
The THIRD ELEMENT is a range of Traditional Tailored Coats constructed of 'Carreaux Tissu' or Checkered Fabrics - reserved solely for menswear garments, with classic tailoring methods and techniques and strong menswear overcoat codes.
The FOURTH ELEMENT, a range of wallpaper styled textiles prints, hand-drawn with acrylics and watercolour in opaque, are inspired by William Morris and his artworks. The prints' motifs are inspired and created from the visual components of the 'EMBAKKE TEMPLE' in Sri Lanka, a Hindu religious relic and a cultural national heritage site of the Sri Lankan people.
The final and FIFTH ELEMENT is the analogical colour palette. From beige, to yellow ochre, orange, red, maroon, brown, blue, violet, grey and black, the analogical colour range remains a prominent factor, circulating the collection.
Together, these five elements harmoniously create InFused A/W2020-2021.
