The sequoia collection was inspired by a large Californian evergreen tree(One that never loses its leaves), signifying growing a small business in home country, Nigeria. Textures and gathered detailing represent a succession of both good and bad experiences. Within this collection is a beautiful assortment of colours, ruffles, gathers, textures that bring the consumer into the world of Oríré, Pieced together using dead-stock fabrics.
About Me
My name is Orire Aleshinloye, born on march 20 1996. I’m the Owner/designer of Oríré. I hold a Masters in Fashion Business Creation from The British School of Fashion in London. I am passionate about sustainable fashion and ethical practices within the fashion industry. I am also driven by a fierce desire to empower women. I am Nigerian and I speak Yoruba fluently with intermediate proficiency in French, which I learned during my childhood in the Republic of Benin.
