Some kind of Biblical Disco, the first collection by Lovelock, was born from personal obsessions and the concept of ‘higher love’. This universal feeling of higher love is described prolifically in the dedication to the spiritual divine, making religious iconography a key influence for this collection. Lovelock's obsession with pink and all that sparkles is not far removed from this language of higher love - like little birds, we collect precious objects here and there and create our own kind of wonderful. Some Kind of Biblical Disco is a gateway into the world of Lovelock and aims be uplifting, sexy and always slightly tongue in cheek.
About Me
LOVELOCK is a new womenswear label created by Rachel Lovelock. Chic, and always slightly tongue in cheek, LOVELOCK is an uplifting, sexy and fun fashion label celebrating diversity and sits on the light hearted side of fashion. The first collection, 'Some Kind of Biblical Disco' is a entry into the world of Lovelock and welcomes you whole heartedly. Lovelock uses only the most exceptional FABRICS AND IS MADE IN LONDON U.K. Before completing her BA in womenswear design at Central Saint Martins, Rachel studied fashion design at Parsons School of Design in Paris and New York. She has worked at independent ateliers in Paris and London and spent several years as a pattern cutter and maker in industry until Lovelock the label evolved into a reality. WWW.RACHELLOVELOCK.COM
