Stay Afloat is an environmental collection inspired by and raising awareness to climate change and one of it's devastating effects, the rise of sea levels. The collection takes inspiration from water safety equipment such as life vests, life boats and life rings and bears resemblance to them in it's bold colours, water resistant fabrics and trims such as straps, buckles and eyelets. The pattern of the embroidery is based on stitch lines found on a life jacket. The somewhat sporty elements are combined with tailoring fabrics and silhouettes.
