Flesh Fashion

'Flesh fashion' is the on-going pre-collection project by LeMÁine - pieces are all entirely handmade using LeMÁine's unique textile process.
Flesh is an exploration of LeMÁine's thoughts on horror as a gender-neutral genre and commentary on SUSTAINABILITY, beauty, fetish and gender.

About LeMÁine

Lena M Áine is an experimental artist and designer based in London.
They are the founder and head designer of LeMÁine.
Their work is influenced by social and political concepts, as well as their love of graphic and horror imagery. Their background as a fine artist features heavily in their designs - especially within the creation of their own original 'imitation flesh' textile.

They have a first-class degree in fashion design from Norwich University of the Arts. Lena created the first 'flesh' pieces and started LeMÁine while still studying in their final year of university. Their work gained popularity after receiving exposure on social media due to the unconventional nature of LeMÁine's pieces.

Lena's work has been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia, PAP Magazine, Elle Brasil and GMARO Magazine amongst others.

The LeMÁine studio is based in East London and is ran by Lena themself, along with a very small team of technicians and assistant designers.
