Dublin based, for many years Joanne has lived and worked between Ireland, the UK and India exploring manufacturing sources and working with luxury artisan makers. This vast breath of experiences over the years of research and the development of collections has allowed Joanne to explore broad categories within design and manufacturing as a designer and a businesswoman. In 2006 JOANNE HYNES FOR TOPSHOP was launched in the Oxford Circus and Dublin Topshop stores.

In 2009, Joanne was awarded Irish Tatler Woman of the Year Awards 2009 in Fashion, for outstanding contribution to Fashion Design. And in 2008, Joanne was also awarded Brown Thomas Designer of the Season Award.
