Hummingbird Collection
The Hummingbird Print came about when Jennifer visited the Paris fabric trade shows a few years ago but was unable to find the print that she was searching for. She decided to create her own and so her signature print, The Hummingbird was born. The Hummingbird Digital Print was designed and developed under Jennifer’s direction in Dublin, Ireland and is exclusive to Jennifer Rothwell. It is bold and adventurous whilst simultaneously being vibrant and colourful.
The print consists of a mirrored repeat that showcases dozens of birds of varying sizes flying in different directions. A backdrop of layered bird wings with faded opacities break up the stunning solid cobalt blue colour. The main colors in the fabrication are cobalt blue, bright Windsor red, orange and teal green. Small segments of vivid red pop against the blue and green tones contained in the print. A royal purple and heath version of the design is also available.
