Drift away with London-based label BEDOUIN’s SS15 collection, inspired by the iconic 1958 musical, South Pacific. The collection opens with a selection of pieces inspired by the traditional sarong, painted with a modern take on the oriental bamboo motif. The hand drawn monochrome prints transform the vintage tropical trend by channeling Island life in parallel with metropolitan cityscapes. The most notable piece from this print is the EMILE DRESS, taking form as a floor length silk dress. Its effortless elegance is the epitome of the modern-day urban BEDOUIN.
BEDOUIN reinforces itself this SS15, creating flattering and easy-to-wear collections with a confident, spontaneous style. Designed and Developed by Central Saint Martins graduate Andraya Farrag, Bedouin is a contemporary womenswear label that aspires to create flattering, easy-to-wear collections with a confident, spontaneous style. Each individually drawn collection is notably influenced by art, culture, urban sportswear and a love for effortless detail. The brands quest is to merge urban sports-luxe, expressive fabrics and a hint of masculine expression without compromising on an elegant relaxed silhouette. Each garment is meticulously crafted with careful attention to subtle detail, easy wearability and a relaxed sports-luxe silhouette.
