Fashion Mutant AW 11/12
The Fashion Mutant collection is inspired by mutation in nature and is a metaphore for changes in society, the fashion industry and my own company. It contains a wide viarity of birght collours and signature prints. With this collection Bas won the Dutch Fashion Incubator Award 2010. The collection was presented on Amsterdam International Fashion Week at the end of January 2011.

About Me
Creative director and founder of the studio, Bas Kosters (1977), graduated from the Fashion Institute Arnhem in 2003 with his collection ‘Two teacups and a frying pan’. This collection was also entered into the Robijn Fashion award and won the professional jury price. Bas Kosters founded the studio in 2005 as a platform to host all his fashion- and related activities. Kosters' self created world of graphic designs and sketches of typical characters form the basis of the studio’s distinctive visual language. Bas Kosters’ profound belief in the strength of combining different disciplines to develop one brand is acknowledged by his winning of multiple awards.
